Although I know nothing about the professional contingencies you’re going through at this particular time of your life, I’m gonna add my two cents anyway:

I don’t really think you have to let go off one thing so as to pursue the other one. If there are schedule or career incompatibilities between being an editor and being a screenwriter, you may just put one activity on the hold for some time. But that doesn’t mean *giving up* or making radical choices! I understand you may have to focus on the direction you need to take because you’re at a crossroads right now, but don’t close doors on what you enjoy doing. You never know what kind of opportunities you may get in the future. Some things will happen, some people will make things happen, and you are good enough in many ways to achieve different sorts of projects. You got the gift of being a multitalented artist (b*tch!), so have a little faith in what may eventually happen in your life. Make choices, yes, but don’t let some other dreams and projects fade away just because you cannot keep doing everything at the same time. And you know what? Wonder Woman is a myth. Don’t feel too frustrated if you can’t deal with all of the issues arising in your life today. Plus, as far as (screen)writing is concerned, I also know this is something that you’ll never be able to stop doing, which is why I don’t worry too much about what’s gonna happen to you in the end. ;-)
