Oh my God, Julia! Just saw your new kinetic typography vid, it’s AWESOME!!!!!! Wow!!!!! I love it so much, dammit!! :-)
I really love Castle’s face here and i’m glad we got to see his dark “jackass” side over the last episodes. There’s still a lot to learn about this character and i like the fact that he’s not *just* the nice charming guy he used to be till a few weeks ago. The zombie outfit and two-faced makeup are metaphorical in many ways. The writers are doing a pretty good job with him and i hope they’ll keep going in this direction next season!

“Everybody is gone” - Castle (4x01)
This is what we call kinetic typography, which is basically animated typography.
I watched a lot of it and I wanted to give it a try. So be aware, this is my very first attempt.
I didn’t know what sound to use in the background so I finally choose the Beckett monologue in the 4x01 episode of Castle.
The song you can hear is “Fly”, by Ludovico Einaudi (from the movie Les intouchables).
I love it. I. JUST. LOVE. IT. The words and voice are all that matter… This is fascinating, hypnotic and meaningful. It’s like capturing the essence of the the speech!

I watched Castle’s pilot with a friend tonight.
#1 She fell in love with Beckett/Stana.
#2 She shouted “Home!” every time there were pics of NYC (said friend grew up in the city).
#3 The pilot was not enough. We then watched episode 1x02. And 3. And 4. And 5.
#4 At some point I had to leave but she just texted me to say she’s watching episode 6 (good girl!).
I think I should apalogize to my friend. With all the episodes she still has to catch up, her social life is over for a while…
But in some way, I think I did it like a boss. :-)
